Napolenica

Time to start heading gently north and towards home, so we had to say goodbye to Croatia (or Dovedanja which I think is more “until we see you again”). We’ll certainly be back, having visited only about a fifth of all the areas and less than a tenth  of the crags in the guide.

A 5 hours drive sees us just over the Italian border and West of Triest, where we conclude our tour of the Karst edges with a trip to Napolenica. Odd crag, mostly formed by a road cutting for a road that never opened, and reminiscent of Castle in Quarry. However, some further sectors of natural rock have been developed more recently to give good climbing. We enjoyed Calabroni.
