Having dropped into the White House to see the President, it only seemed appropriate to drop by the Pink House to pay our respects to The King.

There’s free entry to Graceland, by Tennessee State law, as it is officially a cemetery – only you have to be there between 7.30 and 8.30 am. On a drizzly Saturday we had the place to ourselves.

A quick stop to dip a toe into the Mighty Mississippi and we resumed our journey West – next stop Arkansas!
