The Mercury, or actually the car thermometer, is pushing 30C and we have the rare conundrum  (this year at least) of finding a shady crag. Where else but Staden – the bucolic idyll with climbing to match.

Added objective danger from a herd of cows, with a couple of bulls thrown in for good measure. We clocked up 10 E-points before heading for a well-earned pint with Mike and Geoff.
