Having been toasted yesterday, we decided to head up the valley to gain altitude and a bit of coolth. The “sector camping” at Bielsa, about 15km south of the French border, looked ideal. A good range of grades and some long pitches.
Actually, it turned out scorchio again, and the routes were a mix of ultra sandbags and crumbling choss fests. The first disappointing crag of the trip. Gorgeous place though.
We decided to quit early and head up into the hills to explore the Ordesa National Park (and search for a bar!) Tella is a pretty village, which we caught at rush hour….
