Heading north now, towards Bilbao and a ferry crossings on Thursday. Santa Linya provides an ideal stopping off point – easy overnight parking, some great routes we didn’t have time for last visit, and hopefully a bit of sun.

The crags around Lleida are known for an unhelpful microclimate of freezing fog and cloud inversion. We arrived to find the crag just emerging from one – sunny but with the temperature showing 8C. Managed to baggsy half a dozen routes before the sun set and temperature plummeted further. This morning the fog was back, so westwards to the next staging post at Santa Ana.
