Sunny Sunday afternoon, and a gentle session on the grit is too hard to resist, despite the dodgy calf.

Warby, Chris and Sue are heading to Millstone so I drop by. A couple of VSs and an ascent of the mega classic Great North Road make for a relaxing afternoon, enlivened with some banter with Johnny Dawes (who is recovering from a somewhat more serious leg injury – broken tib and fib!)

A good day is topped off with the guys at Outside being very accommodating in replacing my faulty harness, followed by United beating Liverpool. Happy days!
