Heavy rain in Glossop, and real time reports from Paul and JP,  suggested that it was daft even setting off. However I’d been conned by an optimistic forecast and said I was going, and Andy kindly provided some company. Imagine our surprise to find the rain stopping at Wordlow and even blue sky at Stoney!

Okay, it was a tad chilly, but Andy put in a fine lead to get the John and me up Windhover  (missing peg at 15ft so beware )

… and then I did Inquisitor before rounding off a splendid evening in The Moon.
