More Ager climbing, this time at about 1300m and accessed from above via a winding road that heads over the top of the Montsec d’Ares. Fantastic views from up there, with the parapenters launching from directly overhead, competing with the vultures for mastery of the sky. No contest!
The climbing isn’t quite so much my style as the Grillon crag lower down, but once you have ticked the inevitably grim easiest route at the crag – a short crimpy slab with no holds and little to recommend it, the routes improve considerably.
We did a great 6b+ up a line of pockets,
Alvolos
And a great 6c+up a steep corner
