After seeing off the last of the SunRockers on their flights back to Blighty, we had a much needed rest day on the coast near Barcelona, before scratching our heads for a plan for the next day. We settled on La Talaia, a roadside crag only 20 minutes drive from the coast.
This turned out to be a duff idea – overnight rain had left this west facing crag a bit damp, with another couple of hours until the sun hit. Moreover, with this being a Sunday the road was buzzing with bikers and the crag filling up with locals. Not a great combo, so we decided to head back to Sansuies.
We didn’t quite have the place to ourselves, as a Spanish couple were also there, but it was a lot quieter than a week before with a dozen Rucksackers!

Great views over to the coast
… and from the top of the crag you can see Montserrat spread out on the skyline
