Scot Crag Scugdale

Heading up to visit Jake in Newcastle we break the journey at Scugdale at the northern end of the North Yorks Moors. Not an inspiring name but an absolutely lovely spot.

Short routes on heavily featured sandstone – almost highball territory but generally takes reasonable gear.

Too chilly to stop for long in the freezing wind but well worth coming back for.
