After a couple of days of rain it’s dried up 🙂 Rather than the focus being on finding routes in sheltered caves, the struggle has been finding routes that aren’t mobbed – the place is completely rammed!
A slightly frustrating day avoiding the queues on Friday finally led me to give in to Jake’s plan for a day in the shade on the Trebenna sector. Even wilder caves sprouting tufa columns and towers, it’s somewhat reminiscent of Gaudi’s Sagrada Famillia. Layered up I had a day as belay bunny, gazing across at the sun kissed sector Sarkit, whilst Jake managed to on sight a couple of 7Cs and a 7B. Pretty productive!
