Another well established Italian crag, this one is just north of Verona. It occupies a lofty position above the town, with great views somewhat marred by a large gravel shunting operation.
The climbing has a Peak limestone feel about it, with generally vertical grey walls with cracks, flakes and pockets together with the occasional cave (one of which has a situ campus board!) East orientation provides pleasant shade – a real blessing as the heatwave continues. Not a destination crag, but a pleasant stopover and handy for an overnight at Lake Garda. Also notable for a VERY easy 7a (no harder than the adjacent rather tough 6b and probably a misprint – but what the heck!)
