Sunshine and temps in the high teens so we need to take the vampire somewhere shady – in fairness to Jake, it is pretty sticky in the sun. Camarasa is a mostly north facing crag above a hydroelectric station, but that doesn’t really do the outlook justice.
Lots of pockets on otherwise blank orange rock, mixed in with a tufa cave make for good variety in sector La Selva, which is clearly the smart place to be judging by the number of locals. Jake styled a couple of 7b+s and got to the last move on a 7c+. He was quite annoyed!
