Homeward bound and a bunch of YECTOYDs

The weather finally crapped out in a big way, so we started to plod gently northwards. Despite the rain showers we managed to squeeze in the odd route along the way.

… That’s what I call a  roadside crag! On the way up to the Col de Galibier.

…which they’d kindly opened a couple of days before, saving a long excursion into Italy and a  €50 toll for the Frejus tunnel – not to mention some amazing views!

…followed by a half days climbing above saint jean de maurienne at a slabby but very handy crag, complete with topo on a sign at the parking.
