With a forecast for possible showers near Finestrat, we assembled a team to head south to Redovan. Sure enough, a fine dose of sunshine was served up and the crag was soon strewn Ropes and Rucksackers.
A big black cloud provided an excuse for a lunch break in the big central cave, whilst it dumped a load of rain to the accompaniment of flashes of lighting and claps of thunder.
But the normal order of things was soon restored, and just like incy wincy spider, we came out to climb again.
With a rain interruption and a long drive we only just made it back for our 8pm dinner deadline – and were met with a delicious prawn and lemon risotto courtesy of Lis and Elaine (prepared after a major bike ride). Other members of the team had a good day at Guadalest.
