‘At 2,000ft this crag is a great option for a hot day’ – so said UKC, and with a scorchio forecast we headed for a look.
What a gorgeous spot, tucked away up a twisty dirt road and a 30 minutes walk you’re pretty much guaranteed to have it to yourself.
Orange Express and The Viper are both well worth the walk, but the route of the crag is the superb Simphonie fur Sigi – 3* 6a+. Outstanding!
Steve, Geoff, Ian and Mark served up a great meal, and Dr B even had a turn at the sink to disprove the theory that a PhD means you can’t wash up.
