Another sunny day and another bolted limestone quarry – at least this time it was genuinely warm in the sun (despite single digit temperatures).
Horseshoe isn’t everyone’s cup of tea (it isn’t really mine) but when it comes to bagging a few routes in what might be the last climbable day of the year, it’s a winner – especially the upper tier which catches an extra hour or two of sun, long after those below are shivering!
We weren’t the only people with the same idea though…
