This one has been on our radar for a couple of years, but a bit of a trek to access from Calpe. Finally managed to visit and it didn’t disappoint, though it was a bit of a dull day.
Only about 30 routes on the main sector, but a good mix of grades once you get over the ‘entry bar’ of a couple of 6a+s (both good).
El Senor del Las Aguilas is an outstanding 7a – starts gently enough of a slab and groove, but steepens for the last 20m into tufa pockets and then some big pulls to top out. La Guardia 6b+ also very good. Some of the other tufas a bit damp. Definitely plenty for another visit đŸ™‚
Then back to the local bar to catch Valencia beating Real Madrid (very popular with the locals!) accompanied by pintxos
Four yummy little butties and a couple of beers for a fiver!
